The C2G CG27270 is a 50ft (15.2m) Cat5e shielded STP Ethernet network patch cable designed for high-interference environments. This cable utilizes F/UTP construction, featuring an overall cable foil shield and a drain wire to provide robust protection against EMI/RFI noise. The internal conductors are 24 AWG stranded copper, arranged in a 4-pair configuration and wired to the TSB 568B (AT+T 258A) standard. For reliable connectivity in demanding setups, the cable is equipped with shielded, 50 micron gold-plated RJ45 male connectors. Each end features a snagless, booted connector made of PVC to provide extra strain relief and increased durability during installation. This gray patch cable is rated for an operating temperature range of -4°F to 176°F (-20°C to 80°C) and is TIA/EIA compliant. To ensure maximum protection against electromagnetic interference throughout your entire signal path, it is recommended to use this cable in conjunction with Cat5e shielded patch panels and Cat5e shielded keystone jacks.
