This cable utilizes 28AWG stranded copper conductors, resulting in a reduced cable diameter of 0.19 in (4.8 mm) ± 0.15mm (0.01 in). This slim profile provides increased airflow in tight spaces and is suitable for high-bandwidth applications requiring up to 10 GBPS data transfer rates. Each cable features RJ-45 male connectors with gold-plated contacts and a molded, snagless PVC boot to provide strain relief and prevent accidental snags during installation. The unshielded (UTP) construction meets ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801-1 electrical performance requirements.
