The cable is constructed with 24 AWG stranded copper conductors and uses HDPE (High-density Polyethylene) insulation. Each end is fitted with a shielded, 50 micron gold-plated RJ-45 male connector featuring a snagless, booted design to provide extra strain relief and improved durability. Designed to meet or exceed industry standards for NEXT and return loss, this cable utilizes TSB 568B (AT+T 258A) wiring. For maximum protection against electromagnetic interference, this cable should be used alongside a Cat5e shielded patch panel and Cat5e shielded keystone jacks to ensure a complete end-to-end shielded system.
