Designed for fast Ethernet networks that require bandwidth-intensive voice, data, or video distribution applications, this cable meets all Cat5e TIA/EIA standards. It is engineered to drastically reduce both impedance and structural return loss (SRL) through its specific construction. Each individual pair is bonded together to maintain consistent twist-spacing throughout the line, extending all the way to the termination point. This design, utilizing high quality copper stranded conductors, helps minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. The molded, snagless boot provides extra strain relief and prevents unwanted cable snags during installation or maintenance. This unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable features a 24 AWG wire gauge and a 0.21 in (5.3 mm) cable diameter. It is rated for standard/non-rated environments and is built with a PVC jacket and connector hood.
