This F/UTP cable utilizes an overall cable foil shield and a drain wire to provide critical protection against noise. It is constructed with 4-pair 24 AWG stranded copper conductors and features 50 micron gold-plated RJ45 connectors. The cable is built with PVC insulation and a PVC jacket, featuring a 0.24 in (6 mm) diameter. For durability and ease of use in high-density installs, the connectors include snagless, booted hoods made of PVC. This cable is wired to the TSB 568B (AT+T 258A) standard and meets or exceeds industry standards for NEXT and return loss. For end-to-end shielding protection, this cable should be paired with a C2G Cat5e shielded patch panel and Cat5e shielded keystone jacks.
