The C2G CG50835 is a 0.5 ft (0.2 m) Cat6a patch cable designed for high-density networking environments. This orange, unshielded UTP cable is engineered to support 10 Gigabit data transmission over a 4 pair copper cable, enabling connections up to 100 meters when used in appropriate channel configurations. It is specifically optimized for 10GBase-T ports and equipment, including network adapters, hubs, switches, routers, DSL/cable modems, and patch panels. This cable features a 26AWG stranded bare copper conductor with HDPE insulation and a PVC jacket. To facilitate easier management in crowded racks, the cable is built with a snagless, booted connector type to protect the RJ-45 terminations. The design is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6a channel requirements, offering improved performance regarding alien crosstalk.
