The Chief FPIWMKIT1 is a Tempo™ Flat Panel In-Wall pre-drywall kit designed for use during the rough-in construction phase. This kit allows contractors to install in-wall boxes with stud tabs to accommodate large-format displays. It is engineered for screens 65" and larger and is weight-rated up to 250 lbs (113 kg). This capacity is designed to cover in-wall boxes and can eliminate the need for wood blocking reinforcement on steel studs when installed according to manufacturer instructions. The system supports both landscape and portrait orientations. For a complete installation, the Tempo™ Flat Panel In-Wall Flange-Mount-Storage Kit (FPIWMKIT2) is required. To house small devices, installers can add Tempo™ In-Wall AV Storage Boxes (FPIWSBX). The boxes are compatible with 0.5" to 1.25" thick drywall and feature various knockouts for cabling flexibility, including single-gang electrical box compatibility.
