The Vaddio 802-3280 EasyMic Adapter is designed to bring external audio sources into your conference room setup. By connecting the RJ-45 end of this adapter into the EasyMic port on the back of a HuddleSHOT, ConferenceSHOT AV, or EasyIP Decoder, you create a dedicated 3.5mm stereo line-in. This allows integrators to utilize the built-in speakers of the HuddleSHOT or ConferenceSHOT AV with a display, even when the system is not actively in a USB videoconference call. The adapter features a 3.5mm male end that is mono balanced differential with a 0dBu reference line level, and a 3.5mm female end that is a stereo single ended with a -10dBu reference line level. Please note that using this adapter occupies the EasyMic port, which prevents the connection of an EasyMic microphone like a TableMIC or CeilingMIC to the HuddleSHOT; however, the two internal microphones near the camera lens remain functional.
