The C2G CG52157 is a 6ft (1.8 m) serial RS232 DB9 cable designed specifically for audio/video installations in commercial and educational environments. This cable features a male DB9 connector and a female DB9 connector with low-profile designs, measuring 1.25 in in total depth. These rounded connectors are engineered to fit within 1.25 in I.D. mounts, allowing for easier installation when space is limited behind monitors or displays. To ensure reliable data transmission in environments with high interference, the cable is fully shielded against EMI/RFI and features crossed transmit and receive signals. This 28 AWG cable is CMG and FT4 rated, making it suitable for in-wall use in accordance with many NEC requirements for general-purpose communications cables.
