This 4-pair copper cable facilitates 10 Gigabit data transmission for distances up to 100 meters, providing a significant performance upgrade over standard Cat6 cabling systems which may only support 10 Gigabit Ethernet over limited distances. This black patch cable features a 0.24 in (6 mm) diameter and is constructed with 26AWG bare copper stranded conductors. For ease of installation in high-density switch applications, the connectors feature a snagless, booted PVC hood that protects the RJ-45 terminations. Each cable is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6a channel requirements, ensuring improved alien crosstalk performance. The cable utilizes HDPE insulation and a PVC jacket, with a temperature rating of 75°C. This cable is ideal for connecting network adapters, hubs, switches, routers, and patch panels.
