Each individual pair is bonded together to maintain twist-spacing throughout the entire line up to the termination point, which drastically reduces impedance and structural return loss (SRL). This specific model features a gray PVC jacket with a 0.21 in (5.3 mm) cable diameter. The connectors are standard RJ-45 males with PVC snagless boots that protect the clips during installation and provide additional strain relief.
