The C2G CG00650 is a 15 ft (4.6 m) Cat6a shielded STP Ethernet patch cable designed for high-speed 10GBase-T network environments. This cable is ideal for connecting network adapters, hubs, switches, routers, DSL/cable modems, and patch panels. Because it utilizes shielded STP (SSTP) construction, it protects 10 Gigabit network connections from electromagnetic interference and noise. The cable features 26AWG stranded bare copper conductors and FMPE (Foam Polyethylene) insulation to help maintain twist-spacing throughout the line up to the termination point. This construction helps minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and reduces impedance and structural return loss (SRL). Each cable is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6a component requirements. The gray PVC jacket includes snagless, booted RJ-45 male connectors to prevent accidental disconnection during installation or maintenance. This series is available in various colors and lengths to support specific network color-coding requirements.
