The UPX-EXPANRUN-10-15 provides essential additional runtime for AV systems during power anomalies when paired with NEXSYS UPS products. This 2 RU unit is specifically designed for use with 1000VA and 1500VA NEXSYS UPS models. To maximize system autonomy, installers can daisy-chain up to four of these Expandable Run Time Units together. This unit is delivered pre-assembled from the factory with the battery already connected, allowing for immediate integration into a rack. For ease of maintenance, the battery is hot-swappable via a front-access panel, ensuring that servicing the unit does not require a full system shutdown. It features pre-installed rack ears with 4-post mounting brackets, making it ready for installation even in racks with a third pair of rackrails. The unit operates within a temperature range of 32° to 104°F (0° to 40°C) and connects via a 6 ft (1.8 m) NEMA 5-15P power cord.
