The Wiremold EFB45 is a low-profile, flush-style cover designed to attach to EFB45S style floor boxes. Constructed from die-cast aluminum, this cover features a durable hinge that allows the unit to rotate 180° for service. It includes a 1/4" deep recessed area specifically engineered to accept a finished floor covering, allowing the assembly to sit flush with carpet, tile, or wood. The unit is equipped with two slide egress doors that automatically close around cables when the cover is shut and can lock in the open position. For installations involving polished concrete or terrazzo, the EFB45-CTR ring must be used to achieve a flush finish; please note that this ring is sold separately. This TAA compliant component is available in several finishes, including this brushed aluminum option.
