The Wiremold EHWB8-BK is an eight-gang hinged wall box designed to house power, communications, and A/V devices in upscale environments. It is engineered to fit into 16" on center openings between studs in standard 2"x 4" walls and supports both new work and old work applications. This box features two 4-gang standard NEMA size openings and includes a built-in tunnel that allows wiring compartments on both sides of the box to be fed with a single conduit. This design enables multiple service points to be daisy-chained together via a cable pass-through capability, which can reduce the total number of conduit runs required. For security and maintenance, the cover opens a full 180° and features an integrated handle, a lock and key set, and a flush egress door for cabling. This SKU is the black version of the Evolution Series hinged box; the finished cover assembly, EHWBC, is sold separately.
