Constructed from die cast aluminum, this Nickel finish cover features a durable hinge that allows the lid to rotate open up to 180 degrees. It includes a deep recessed area specifically engineered to accept various finished floor coverings, such as wood, tile, carpet, terrazzo, or polished concrete. For user safety and cable protection, the assembly utilizes two slide egress doors that lock in the open position during servicing and automatically close around cabling when the cover is shut. The flange is designed with a bevelled edge to meet ADA guidelines and minimize potential tripping hazards in high-traffic areas.
