Constructed from die-cast aluminum, this low-profile cover includes a durable hinge that allows the assembly to rotate open up to 180 degrees. It features a deep recessed area intended to accept finished floor coverings, allowing for a more integrated appearance with the surrounding surface. To ensure safety and protect wiring, the cover utilizes two slide egress doors that lock in the open position during service and automatically close around cables when the cover is shut. The flange includes a bevelled edge designed to meet ADA guidelines and minimize tripping hazards. This cover is compatible with various finished floor materials including carpet, tile, wood, polished concrete, and terrazzo.
