The EFB45BTCGY is a surface-style cover designed for use with EFB45S style floor boxes within the Evolution Series. This die-cast aluminum cover is engineered for installation in finished flooring environments, such as wood or carpet tile. It features a durable hinge that allows the lid to rotate open up to 180°. To manage cabling safely, the assembly includes two slide egress doors that lock in the open position and automatically close around wires when the lid is shut, minimizing trip hazards. For installations on polished concrete or terrazzo, the EFB45-CTR ring must be used to ensure the assembly sits flush (ring sold separately).
