The Wiremold EFB45BTCBKTR is a low-profile surface style cover designed specifically to attach to EFB45S style floor boxes. Constructed from durable die-cast aluminum, this cover is engineered for use with finished floors, such as wood or carpet tile. It features a durable hinge that allows the unit to rotate 180° for easy access. To manage cabling safely, the assembly includes two slide egress doors that lock in the open position and automatically close around wires when the cover is shut. This design protects the cabling and helps reduce potential trip hazards in high-traffic areas. For installations on polished concrete or terrazzo where a flush finish is required, the EFB45-CTR ring must be used (sold separately). This black-finish cover is cULus and RoHS compliant.
