The Da-Lite 29879E is a ceiling recessed electric projection screen featuring the Parallax Stratos 1.0 surface. Designed for front projection, this 58" x 104" (119" diagonal) screen utilizes an Ambient Light Rejecting (ALR) high-resolution surface to maintain image clarity in lit environments. The Tensioned Advantage Series is engineered for recessed ceiling applications, featuring a design that incorporates ceiling trim to conceal the rough opening, which eliminates the need for additional trim work after installation. This model uses a 220V (50Hz) motor intended for export markets and includes an automatic closure door. The white powder-coated housing is UL Plenum rated, making it suitable for many commercial ceiling environments. The screen utilizes Smooth Roll Technology and the TruGuide™ Electric Screen Tensioning System to maintain a perfectly flat viewing surface. For installation, the two-stage design allows the case to be installed during the rough-in stage, while the screen surface assembly is completed during the finishing stage. This unit is TAA compliant and provides standard black drop for high-contrast projection.
