The Da-Lite 29778 is a Tensioned Advantage Series ceiling recessed electric screen designed for professional large venue environments. This 58" x 104" (119" diagonal) projection surface features the Parallax Pure 0.8 high-resolution, ambient light rejecting (ALR) surface. Unlike standard vinyl surfaces, the Parallax Pure material uses a unique micro-layered lens system that remains optically flat under projection, though it may exhibit slight waves that are not visible during use. This screen is configured for front projection and utilizes a standard 120V (60Hz) motor with built-in standard low voltage control. The unit includes an automatic closure door and features a standard 2" black drop, distinguishing it from the 12" black drop found on standard Tensioned Advantage models. For installation, the white powder-coated, UL Plenum rated case is designed for two-stage mounting; the case can be installed during rough-in construction, while the screen surface assembly is completed during the finishing stage. This series is TAA compliant and manufactured in the US.
