The Da-Lite 29779EB is a Tensioned Advantage Series ceiling recessed electric screen designed for high-performance front projection. This 50" x 80" (94" diagonal) model features a Wide (16:10) screen format equipped with a Parallax Pure 0.8 surface. This specialized surface is an Ambient Light Rejecting (ALR) and high-resolution material that uses a micro-layered lens system to provide an optically flat projection area. While the surface may exhibit slight waves due to the lens structure, these are not visible under projection. This specific SKU is configured for export with a 220V (50Hz) motor and includes a standard black drop of 2". The Tensioned Advantage series is designed for two-stage installation: the white powder-coated, UL Plenum rated case can be installed during the rough-in phase, while the screen surface assembly is installed during finishing. The TruGuide™ Electric Screen Tensioning System and Smooth Roll Technology work together to maintain a perfectly flat viewing surface.
