The Da-Lite 29779B Tensioned Advantage Series is a ceiling recessed electric screen designed for professional projection environments. This 50" x 80" (94" diagonal) unit features the Parallax Pure 0.8 surface, an Ambient Light Rejecting (ALR) high-resolution material designed for front projection. Unlike standard vinyl surfaces, the micro-layered lens system of Parallax Pure is optically flat under projection to maintain high-resolution clarity. This specific SKU is designated as a Case/Box Only for Rough-In, intended to be installed during the construction stage to conceal the rough opening with integrated ceiling trim. The series utilizes TruGuide™ Electric Screen Tensioning for a smooth, flat viewing surface and Smooth Roll Technology. It features a standard 120V (60Hz) motor and a standard black drop of 2" due to the Parallax Pure surface. The white powder-coated case is UL Plenum rated and includes an automatic closure door.
