The Da-Lite 29779 is a ceiling recessed electric screen from the Tensioned Advantage series, designed for front projection in large venue applications. This complete screen features a 50" x 80" format (94" diagonal) equipped with a Parallax Pure 0.8 surface. Unlike standard vinyl surfaces, Parallax Pure utilizes a micro-layered high-grade lens system that provides ambient light rejection (ALR) and high-resolution performance. While the unique lens system may exhibit slight waves, the surface remains optically flat under projection. This TAA-compliant model includes a standard 120V (60Hz) motor and a standard black drop of 2" for this specific surface type. Installation is facilitated by sliding mounting brackets and a two-stage process that allows the white powder-coated, UL Plenum-rated case to be installed during the rough-in stage, with the screen surface assembly following during finishing. The TruGuide™ Electric Screen Tensioning System and Smooth Roll Technology work together to maintain a perfectly flat viewing area.
