The Da-Lite 24849E is a Tensioned Advantage Series ceiling recessed electric screen designed for professional large venue applications. This complete screen solution features an HD Progressive 1.3 surface optimized for front projection and comes equipped with a standard black drop, providing 12" of border above the viewing area. For streamlined installation in new construction, the two-stage mounting design allows the screen case to be installed during the rough-in phase, while the surface assembly is added during the final finishing stage. The white powder-coated housing is UL Plenum rated, ensuring safety in various ceiling environments. This TAA compliant model operates on 220V (50Hz) for export markets and utilizes Smooth Roll Technology combined with the TruGuide™ Electric Screen Tensioning System to maintain an optically flat, perfectly smooth viewing surface. To ensure clean aesthetics, the unit includes an automatic closure door to hide the screen when not in use.
