The unit is designed for two-stage installation: the case can be installed during the rough-in construction stage, while the screen surface assembly is installed later during the finishing stage. This specific model is a case/box only for rough-in, meaning the housing is prepared to be concealed within the ceiling trim. The system features a standard 120V (60Hz) motor and standard low voltage control for flexible operation. It utilizes a standard black drop, which provides 12" of black border above the projection surface to maintain visual focus.
