Da-Lite Advantage Manual With CSR, 144" x 144" with Matte White - 85694B
Square ceiling recessed manual projection screen with 144" x 144" dimensions and Matte White non-tensioned surface
The Da-Lite 85694B is a manual projection screen designed for ceiling recessed applications. This 144" x 144" square format screen features a Matte White non-tensioned surface and is engineered for front projection. The Advantage series includes integrated ceiling trim, which conceals the rough opening to eliminate the need for additional finishing work after installation. This specific model includes a Controlled Screen Return (CSR) mechanism, ensuring a quiet and controlled return to the housing when the screen is retracted. For installation, the screen housing can be attached to the structure above a drop ceiling using sliding installation brackets. The assembly is designed for a two-stage installation: the case can be installed during the rough-in construction stage, allowing the fabric assembly to be completed during the finishing stage. This TAA compliant screen features a UL Plenum rated case and a white powder-coated finish with a standard black backing to maintain projected brightness.

Questions about this part
How does the Advantage Manual with CSR installation work?
The installation is completed in two stages. The screen case can be mounted during the rough-in construction stage, and the fabric assembly is finished during the final stage using the included sliding installation brackets.
What is the benefit of the CSR feature on this screen?
The Controlled Screen Return (CSR) ensures that the screen retracts into the housing quietly and in a controlled manner rather than dropping rapidly.
Does this screen require additional trim work after installation?
No. The Advantage series is designed with ceiling trim already in place to conceal the rough opening, removing the need for extra finishing work.
Is the 85694B TAA compliant?
Yes, this model is TAA compliant and is a US-made product.
What documents are available for submittals?
