The CWR-18-17PD is a dedicated 18RU swing wall rack engineered specifically for structured cabling applications. Designed for environments where floor and wall space are limited, this rack provides a versatile solution for mounting multiple patch panels and voice/data equipment. The welded steel construction ensures long-term strength, supporting a UL load capacity of 200 lbs (90.7 kg). This 18RU model features a 26 in (66 cm) width, providing extra clearance for cable management and patching. For efficient maintenance, the center section features a locking swing-open design, allowing installers to access both the front and rear of the equipment without removing the unit from the wall. The unit includes a plexi front door with a locking/latching mechanism for security, and the door can be reversed to allow for either left or right-hand swing depending on the installation site. For thermal management, the rack is engineered for passive cooling, though an optional fan kit can be added if higher airflow is required.
