The On-Q WP3460GY is a gray Cat6 RJ45 keystone insert designed to create a functional Ethernet port within any Keystone wall plate. This component is compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, or Cat6 cabling that has been terminated with RJ-45 plugs. To ensure a reliable connection, the jack features a vertical design to facilitate easy punchdown termination and includes rear retention caps to keep wire terminations secure. The housing is constructed from high-impact, flame-resistant UL 94V-0 plastic, while the phosphor bronze alloy spring wire is plated with 50 micro-inch gold over 100 micro-inches of nickel to ensure durability. It is rated for a minimum insertion and extraction life of 750 cycles and meets Category 6 standards as defined in TIA/EIA-568-B.2.
