The Luxul XAP-1610 is an indoor dual-band access point utilizing 802.11ac Wave 2 technology to support high-density device environments and increased data rates. This unit features 4x4 MU-MIMO and Beamforming across both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless frequencies, providing high output power for maximum coverage. It is compatible with all Luxul WiFi controllers, including standalone or embedded configurations, and works alongside Luxul Roam Assist™ Wireless Controllers for managed multi-AP deployments. The XAP-1610 supports up to 8 total SSIDs (4 per band) and includes 802.1Q VLAN compliance to facilitate secure guest network segmentation. For installation, the unit can be mounted on a ceiling, mounted on a wall, or placed on a desktop. It supports single-cable installation using an integrated PoE+ port, though an injector is included for AC power setups. This device is NDAA 889 compliant and meets FCC, IC, RCM, and RoHS standards.
