Each individual pair is bonded together to maintain consistent twist-spacing from the connector to the termination point, which helps reduce Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. This construction also minimizes structural return loss (SRL) and impedance. The pink PVC jacket houses the cable, which features a 0.24 in (6.2 mm) diameter. For ease of installation, the cable includes molded snagless boots with PVC connector hoods that protect the RJ-45 male clips from damage during repeated plugging and unplugging.
