The Wiremold 880MPFC is a fire classified nonmetallic rectangular floor box designed to preserve the 2-hour fire rating of the floor in which it is installed. This single-gang unit is intended for installation in concrete with a minimum depth of 3 1/2" (89mm) and a maximum depth of 6" (152mm). For installation, the provided insert spacer should not be removed until after the concrete pour is complete. The box features a maximum capacity of 100 cu. in. (1639ml) and a minimum capacity of 50 cu. in. (819ml). To maintain the fire classification, these boxes cannot be ganged together. For electrical and data needs, the unit allows for a maximum copper cross section of four #12 AWG Type THHN power conductors or 48 #23 AWG (6 Cat. 6) Tele Data conductors per insert.
