The 8801S-FC is a 1-gang steel floor box designed for installations where maintaining the integrity of a floor's fire rating is required. This Omnibox component preserves the 2-hour fire rating of the floors in which it is installed. It features a 53 cubic inch capacity and includes one 1 1/4" (32mm) conduit feed opening. When installing, the box provides an adjustment range over the deck from a 2" (51mm) minimum to a 5" (127mm) maximum. To ensure proper installation and fire protection, use this box in normal weight concrete with a minimum pour of 4 1/2" (114mm) over the deck.
