The C2G07400 is a 7 ft (2.1 m) Cat6A Snagless Shielded (STP) Ethernet Network Patch Cable in Purple, engineered for high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. This cable is designed for use with 10GBase-T ports and equipment, including network adapters, hubs, switches, routers, and patch panels, as well as HDBaseT applications. It utilizes Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) construction with copper stranded conductors to protect high-speed network connections from noise and electromagnetic interference. This shielding, combined with individual pair bonding that maintains twist-spacing to the termination point, helps minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and reduces impedance and structural return loss (SRL). Each cable is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568-C.2 Cat6a component requirements and supports a bandwidth of 500 mHz. The snagless, booted RJ-45 male connectors feature 50 µ in gold plating on the contacts for reliable connectivity and include a PVC hood to protect the locking tab in high-density environments. This purple cable is ideal for color-coding network installations to improve management efficiency.
