This unshielded (UTP) cable features a purple jacket and is constructed with high-quality, made in the USA copper stranded conductors. It is built to meet or exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801-1 industry standards, providing support for 1000BASE-T (1 Gigabit Ethernet) applications. The cable features 50-micron gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 male connectors to improve signal integrity for connections to network adapters, hubs, switches, routers, and servers.
