The CG43084 is a 500 ft (152.4 m) bulk spool of 16 AWG speaker wire intended for residential and commercial audio installations. This 16/2 cable features an in-wall rated white PVC jacket that is both CL2 and FT4 rated to help limit the spread of fire between floors. The conductor construction consists of 65 strands of 99.9% high-purity copper, with each inner conductor measuring 65/0.16 +/- 0.004mm BC and an inner diameter of 1.49mm. To simplify installation, the conductors are twisted together to create a round profile that is easier to pull through conduit or wall cavities compared to flat zip-cord. The cable features color-coded red and black cores for easy identification during termination. The total diameter of the cable is 2.10 +/- 0.10mm with a 0.31mm SR-PVC insulation.
