The duplex receptacle is recessed below floor level to ensure maximum protection for the device and the connections. For safety, the cover design features two spring-loaded slide egress doors that allow the cover to open a full 180 degrees. This model is UL Listed and UL fire classified, utilizing an intumescent material that maintains a 2-hour fire rating for the floor.
