The C2G CG39000 is a 39.3 ft (12 m) USB 2.0 A male to A female active extension cable designed to overcome the distance limitations of standard USB cabling. By utilizing an integrated active chip within the female connector, this cable actively buffers both incoming and outgoing signals. This ensures continuous compliance with USB 2.0 electrical and timing specifications, even at extended lengths. The active technology makes the cable easy to install within conduits or raceways. This specific SKU is part of a series available in different lengths, such as 16.4 ft. Because of the active signal boosting, this cable supports both high-speed and low-speed USB devices. For complex installations requiring greater distances, up to three of these active extension cables can be connected end-to-end to reach a total extension of 118 ft (36 m). This cable features a 0.03 in (0.9 mm) diameter PVC jacket and uses 28 AWG wire. It requires 100mA of power from the host USB port to operate the active circuitry.
