This passive cable is constructed with high-quality, made in the USA copper cabling, providing a 600 MHz maximum frequency for reliable performance. It is designed for use with network adapters, hubs, switches, routers, and servers, meeting or exceeding ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801-1 industry standards for 1000BASE-T (1 Gigabit Ethernet) applications. The snagless RJ-45 connector design includes a molded boot that protects the clips from being snapped off during high-insertion cycle use, while also providing extra strain relief. Each connector features 50-micron gold-plated contacts to improve signal integrity.
