This snagless patch cable is engineered for 10GBase-T ports and equipment, including network adapters, switches, routers, hubs, and patch panels. By utilizing aluminum foil shielding and high-quality, made in the USA copper cabling, this cable is designed to protect high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections from electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI), and alien crosstalk. This passive cable features a stranded copper conductor and a 26 AWG wire gauge with a 0.24 in (6 mm) diameter. The yellow PVC jacket is CMR rated for riser applications and is designed to meet ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801-1 industry standards. The RJ-45 male connectors include 50-micron gold-plated contacts to ensure signal integrity and a snagless design to protect the clips during high-frequency insertion cycles.
