The C2G CG28722 is a 15ft (4.6m) RJ11 high speed internet modem cable designed to facilitate data transmission up to 10 times faster than standard telephone cables. This cable is intended for use when connecting modems to telephone jacks, as well as connecting answering machines and fax machines. To ensure signal integrity and error-free data transfer, the cable utilizes twisted-pair construction combined with double foil shielding and a braid shield to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and minimize crosstalk. The 24 gauge construction is housed in a flexible PVC jacket with a diameter of 0.22 in (5.5 mm), making it easier to route through tight spaces during installation. For reliable conductivity, the assembly features 24k gold-plated RJ11 male connectors protected by snagless, molded PVC hoods to provide effective strain relief and increased durability. This cable is rated for operating temperatures ranging from -4°F (-20°C) to 176°F (80°C).
