This passive cable is constructed with high-quality, made in the USA stranded copper cabling, supporting a maximum frequency of 600 MHz. This enhanced frequency provides increased performance compared to standard Cat6 cables for applications requiring 1000BASE-T (1 Gigabit Ethernet) connectivity. It features 50-micron gold-plated contacts to improve signal integrity and a molded, snagless RJ-45 boot that provides extra strain relief and protects the clips from snapping during high-cycle insertion. This CMR-rated riser cable is designed for use in network adapters, hubs, switches, routers, and servers. It is built to meet or exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801-1 industry standards.
