This thermal management accessory is used to prevent hot air from recirculating between nearby vent openings and top-mount fans. By placing these blockers over the upper front or upper side vents of an enclosure, heated air is forced out through the exhaust fans rather than flowing back into the cabinet. The VBK-E28 is built for enclosures with a depth of 28 in (71.1 cm). This kit is TAA compliant, making it suitable for projects with specific procurement requirements.

Key features

Designed for use with the ERK base series of enclosures

Prevents hot air recirculation between vent openings and top-mount fans

Forces heated air toward exhaust fans to maintain equipment cooling

Fits enclosures with a 28 in (71.1 cm) depth

TAA compliant

Questions

What is the purpose of the VBK-E28 vent blocker kit?

The kit prevents heated air from recirculating between upper vents and top-mount fans, forcing air out through the exhaust instead.

Will the VBK-E28 fit my ERK series enclosure?

This specific VBK-E28 model is intended for ERK series enclosures with a depth of 28 in (71.1 cm).

Does this product meet TAA compliance requirements?

Yes, the VBK-E28 is listed as TAA compliant.

Where should I install the vent blockers?

Blockers should be placed over the enclosure's vents located on the upper sides and the upper front.

Specifications are supplied by the manufacturer.
