This 0 RU device provides 20 Amp of power through 6 NEMA 5-20R receptacles. It features a 2 ft (0.6 m) cord with a NEMA 5-20P plug. For advanced equipment protection, this unit utilizes patented non-degrading series surge protection technology. This MOV-free design protects sensitive electronics without contaminating the system ground. The PDX-620C-SP includes a dry contact port for selectable on/off voltage protection; in the event of over or under-voltage, the PDU automatically disconnects the outlets and restores power once voltage returns to the acceptable range. For installation flexibility, the unit includes two mounting options: a clamp and L-brackets, both of which can be attached to a Lever Lock™ plate for tool-free mounting inside racks, kiosks, or in-wall boxes.

Key features

20 Amp capacity with 6 NEMA 5-20R outlets

Patented non-degrading series surge protection technology

100% MOV-free design to protect equipment without contaminating system ground

Includes a 2 ft (0.6 m) NEMA 5-20P power cord

Dual mounting options via clamp and L-brackets for tool-free installation

Questions

Will the PDX-620C-SP fit in a tight kiosk or behind a display?

Yes, this is a compact 0 RU unit with a 7 in (17.8 cm) depth, designed specifically for 'behind-the-display' and kiosk applications.

What is the difference between this and the standard NEXSYS PDUs?

The PDX-620C-SP is part of the Compact Power Series, offering a smaller footprint for mounting inside in-wall boxes or tight spaces where full-width rack PDUs won't fit.

How does the voltage protection work on the PDX-620C-SP?

Using the dry contact port, the PDU can automatically disconnect power to outlets during over or under-voltage events and automatically restores it once voltage stabilizes.

Can I plug standard wall warts into these outlets?

Yes, the outlets are oriented to prevent blocked outlets, allowing you to use all 6 NEMA 5-20R receptacles even with bulky DC transformers.

What do I need to mount this in a rack?

The PDX-620C-SP includes a clamp and L-brackets that can be attached to a Lever Lock™ plate for tool-free mounting in various enclosures.

Specifications are supplied by the manufacturer.
