This 52" x 92" (106" diagonal) screen features a Da-Tex surface and is built with a standard black drop. Because this is a projection-specific configuration, it utilizes a standard 120V (60Hz) motor and includes standard low voltage control for integrated system operation. The unit is built with a white powder-coated, UL Plenum rated case that provides a clean aesthetic when installed. The series is designed for two-stage installation, allowing the screen case to be mounted during the rough-in stage and the surface assembly to be installed during the finishing stage. This specific SKU is the roller and motor assembly only; the case and box must be ordered separately. This TAA compliant screen is an ideal solution for large venue environments requiring a high-quality, tensioned viewing surface.

Key features

52" x 92" (106" diagonal) rear projection screen with Da-Tex surface

Ceiling recessed application with automatic closure door and standard black drop

Standard 120V (60Hz) motor with standard low voltage control

UL Plenum rated white powder-coated case for clean aesthetics

TruGuide™ Electric Screen Tensioning System for an optimal viewing surface

TAA Compliant

Questions

Is the Da-Lite 88291F suitable for rear projection?

Yes, this specific model is configured for rear projection and features a Da-Tex surface designed to maintain brightness on the front projection side.

What is the installation process for this ceiling recessed screen?

The Tensioned Advantage Series allows for a two-stage installation where the case is installed during rough-in and the surface is added during the finishing stage.

What do I need to buy separately to complete the installation?

This SKU is the roller and motor assembly only; the case and box must be ordered separately to complete the installation.

Does this screen include a control solution?

The 88291F features standard low voltage control, but you can also add a Da-Lite Low Voltage Wall Switch (SKU 40975) for manual operation.

What is the difference between the standard drop and other Da-Lite screens?

This model features a standard black drop; other models in the series may offer different vertical placements or SightLine™ cable drop options.

Specifications are supplied by the manufacturer.
