This 45" x 80" screen features the Parallax Pure 0.8 surface, a high-resolution, ambient light rejecting (ALR) material utilizing a unique micro-layered lens system. Unlike standard vinyl surfaces, this Parallax Pure surface is designed to be optically flat under projection, maintaining a high-quality image in lit rooms. This model is configured for front projection and includes a standard black drop, which is reduced to a 2" drop specifically for the Parallax Pure surface to maximize vertical viewing area.

Built for large venue applications, the 29775E is TAA compliant and features a 220V (50Hz) motor for export markets. The series is engineered for two-stage installation: the white powder-coated case can be installed during the rough-in stage, while the screen surface assembly is completed during the finishing stage. This unit features standard low voltage control and an automatic closure door. For specialized installation, the Tensioned Advantage series is compatible with Da-Lite SightLine technology to create a floating screen effect, though this specific SKU is configured as a complete, standard ceiling recessed unit.

Key features

Parallax Pure 0.8 surface with Ambient Light Rejecting (ALR) and high-resolution properties

45" x 80" screen size with 92 in (233.7 cm) diagonal for 16:9 HDTV format

TAA compliant and UL plenum rated case for installation in plenum spaces

TruGuide™ Electric Screen Tensioning System and Smooth Roll Technology for a flat surface

Automatic closure door and standard low voltage control (LVC) functionality

220V (50Hz) motor specifically configured for export applications

Questions

Is the Da-Lite 29775E suitable for rooms with ambient light?

Yes, this screen uses the Parallax Pure 0.8 surface which features Ambient Light Rejecting (ALR) properties to maintain high resolution in lit environments.

What is the difference between the drop on this screen versus standard Tensioned Advantage models?

While most Tensioned Advantage screens have a 12" black drop, the Parallax Pure surface on the 29775E features a 2" drop to optimize the viewing area.

Can this screen be used for TAA compliant projects?

Yes, the 29775E is TAA compliant and is manufactured in the US.

What voltage motor is included with this SKU?

This specific model is equipped with a 220V (50Hz) motor intended for export use.

Does this screen require additional trim work after installation?

The Tensioned Advantage Series features ceiling trim in place to conceal the rough opening, eliminating the need for additional finishing trim.

Specifications are supplied by the manufacturer.
