This microphone array provides full 360-degree pickup coverage, making a single unit ideal for an average-sized meeting table; for larger environments, a second unit can be added to expand coverage. The pendant housing features three unidirectional cardioid microphone elements, each equipped with integrated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for equalization, filtering, and automatic gain control (AGC). To ensure crystal clear communication during conference calls, the integrated AEC works with companion products like the Vaddio AV Bridge MATRIX PRO or EasyUSB Mixer/Amp to provide an AEC reference from the far end. Installation is streamlined via a single Cat-5 cable connection between the interface box and EasyMIC-compatible Vaddio equipment, supporting cable lengths of up to 100 feet. The unit features a 3-inch (0.9m) adjustable drop cable, but the pendant can be extended to a total of 15 ft (5 meters) from the interface box using a standard RJ45 jack connection.

Key features

Three-element array head with integrated LED mute status indicator

Integrated DSP providing equalization, filtering, and automatic gain control (AGC)

Supports both reference and non-referenced AEC for clear communication

Quick installation with a single Cat-5 cable connecting to EasyMIC-compatible equipment

360-degree pickup coverage suitable for medium to large meeting tables

Questions

How do I connect the CeilingMIC to my Vaddio system?

The CeilingMIC uses a plug-and-play design where you connect a single Cat-5 cable between the microphone interface box and your EasyMIC-compatible Vaddio equipment.

What equipment is needed to utilize the AEC feature?

For optimal AEC performance, the CeilingMIC should be used with a companion product like the Vaddio AV Bridge MATRIX PRO or an EasyUSB Mixer/Amp to provide a far-end reference.

Can I adjust the hanging length of the microphone?

The pendant includes a 3-foot (0.9m) adjustable drop cable, but you can extend the total length to 15 ft (5 meters) from the interface box via a standard RJ45 jack connection.

Is the Vaddio 999-85150-000 TAA compliant?

Yes, this CeilingMIC microphone is TAA compliant and carries CE and FCC certifications.

Will this work with the Vaddio TableMIC?

The CeilingMIC is designed for overhead installation to eliminate clutter, whereas the TableMIC 999-85000-000 is intended for tabletop placement.

Specifications are supplied by the manufacturer.
