By utilizing a keylocked front access point, installers can create a protected "installer zone" within a rack. This allows for the secure housing of critical equipment that must be protected from unauthorized tampering, while leaving the remaining rack space in a "user zone" for client access. This 8 RU model is constructed from sturdy steel with a textured black powder coat finish and is TAA compliant. This specific solid door can also function as a full door when used on RK or BRK Series racks.

Key features

8 RU height for securing specific rack sections

Keylocked front access to protect critical equipment

Sturdy steel construction with a textured black powder coat finish

Can be used as a full door on RK/BRK Series racks

TAA compliant

Questions

What is the purpose of the SSDR-8 security door?

It allows installers to lock a specific 8 RU section of a rack to protect sensitive equipment from tampering while leaving other sections accessible.

Can this be used as a full rack door?

Yes, this door functions as a full door when installed on RK or BRK Series racks.

Is the SSDR-8 a vented or solid door?

The SSDR-8 is a solid door, meaning it is not vented.

Does this door meet TAA requirements?

Yes, this product is TAA compliant.

Where can I find CAD blocks for this security door?

You can download the Security Doors Series CAD Blocks (dwg) from the resources section for your submittals.

Specifications are supplied by the manufacturer.
