This preassembled unit is designed to be connected to conduits immediately, allowing installers to complete the physical installation now and defer specific configuration and plate choices for a later date. Because this is an unwired model, it provides the structural framework for 3 gangs of capacity, enabling the integration of power, communications, and A/V services. The recessed design protects devices below the floor level, while the 180-degree sliding doors on the cover help keep connections and personnel safe. This unit is suitable for installations in carpet, tile, wood, laminate, or concrete floor coverings. This TAA compliant device is an open system, meaning it accepts industry standard power, communications, and A/V devices from most manufacturers, including Extron® and Legrand AVIP.

Key features

Unwired preassembled design allows for immediate conduit connection and deferred device configuration

3-gang capacity supports custom configurations for power, communications, and A/V services

Recessed installation protects all connected devices below the floor level for increased longevity

180-degree sliding cover doors provide safe access to wiring and connections

Compatible with industry standard devices from manufacturers like Extron® and Legrand AVIP

Maintains a 2-hour fire rating through the use of intumescent material

Questions

Will the 6ATC2GY work with my existing AV or power hardware?

Yes, this is an open system that accepts industry standard power, communications, and A/V devices from most manufacturers, including Legrand AVIP and Extron®.

What type of flooring can this poke-thru be installed in?

This device is suitable for use with carpet, tile, wood, laminate, and concrete floor coverings.

Can I configure the devices after the floor is installed?

Yes.
